Citroën TRACTION - NOREVmodel in 1/87
After the Second World War, the Prefecture of Police (PP) of Paris took over the Citroën Traction and the black Renault Celtaquatre that it had before.

It will order to Renault in 1955, 15 models of Renault 4 Chevaux, without paint, nor seat and will create a two-seater model.

The front doors are cut out so that they can be pulled without having to open them.

Each car is equipped with a siren and an adjustable searchlight. They also have a radio transmitter that allows to communicate with a central station.

They were assigned to the motorcycle company for interventions.
In 1957, the Police of PARIS decides to order 58 new units but with full doors. These will be assigned to the Traffic Service of the Police of PARIS..

In 1959, the Police of PARIS is interested by the Renault DAUPHINE. It will order some until 1962.

Note that some Renault DAUPHINE "GORDINI" models, a sport model, were acquired by the Police of PARIS in 1960.

Citroën ID 19 - PP of Paris, WIKING model in 1/87
In 1960 is tested the DS 19 under the name ID 19. This one is assigned on a new motorway section A106 which connects at the time Paris to Orly Airport. Six of them were used to patrol this way.

A thin red line is surmounted by a wide blue band going up on the back of the vehicle. Renault and Citroën models will be used in the Police stations with Renault MEGANE and SCENIC, TRAFIC vans and Peugeot 308.
