The French National Gendarmerie had in the 80's, several hundreds of TRM 2000 "Transport de troupe"(Troop transport) in khaki green delivery. Several of them have been transformed into vehicles for law enforcement and are still in use.

TRM 2000 deployed near Nantes on 05/02/2018 during an operation
During the NNDL operation in 2018 of road rehabilitation near Nantes, a dozen TRM 2000 had been deployed to transport mobile gendarmes who ensured the protection of departmental services that cleaned the area.
Here is a SCANIA truck from the DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement). It is part of the ETMS (Escadron du Transport de Matériel Spécialisé) which transports nuclear missiles under police escort.

The OEIL System for Observation and Exploitation of Legal Imagery is a French National Gendarmerie vehicle.  It is deployed on large gatherings and allows the formal identification of perpetrators of law enforcement offences.
It allows the identification of an individual up to 200 meters thanks to their mast going up to 7 meters.
This system makes it possible to justify the legality of the action of the forces of order by the fight against the abusive questioning, to detect stolen cars or reported stolen thanks to the LAPI System.
Here the Renault B110 "Troop Transport". They are especially visible in overseas.

The Renault MIDIUM Avitailleur de la Gendarmerie is a tanker truck used to fill the helicopters of the National Gendarmerie.
They can be found on the bases or during long term missions close to the helicopters to refuel them quickly. It also exists in Renault B110 version.

The LAB UNIC. This coach is a LOHR vehicle which was reconverted in rolling laboratory of analyses. It can intervene everywhere in France. It is unique in Europe.
It allows to save time on the beginning of investigations which require a speed of scientific analysis. It can analyze fingerprints, hair or fiber comparison, analyze ballistic shots.


It can be sent to disaster or attack scenes to assist investigators.

The Command Vehicle/Crisis Center. This LOHR vehicle has been reconfigured as a command post and equipped with numerous devices to allow authorities to direct operations from a mobile PC.
On board, there are screens, telecom and computer equipment, as well as a system to generate its own 4G network.
It is also equipped with a mast with a 360° camera. The goal is to have several of these buses, which will be in service in each National gendarmerie zonal region...

The GIGN also has a small advanced command vehicle (PC/Crisis), branded IVECO, and which also has a system to generate its own 4G network.
The VBRG, in French: Véhicule Blindé sur Roues de la Gendarmerie, is an armored vehicle that was ordered in 155 units in the 1970s.
There are several variants with blade,
in a command post version or in a classic transport version.
They are based in France, at Versailles Satory, within French Groupement Blindé de la Gendarmerie Mobile (GBGM). These armored vehicles represent a reserve for the government in a crisis situation where the use of law enforcement forces is no longer sufficient, but where it is not necessary to call on the Army.
Some of them are at the Centre National d'Entrainement des Forces de la Gendarmerie Nationale (CNEFG) in St Astier to train the gendarmes in movements with these tanks.
